Monday (Nauti-Cycle Club) Distance Builder rides are designed to help cyclists build distance & endurance. Each week the distance will increase slightly (approximate 10% increase each week). Each week's route will be different. The target speed for this ride is 15-17 mph. Cue sheets for each weeks ride will be made available several days prior to the ride, and posted to the "Nauti-Cycle" Groups emailing. If you plan to ride faster or slower than the target speed, please familiarize yourself with the route, or print a cue sheet. As the distance increases, it will be important that we maintain the target speed to ensure we finish prior to dusk. We will offer shortened distances to those unable to complete the distance by dusk.

 

Tuesday rides are faster with some intervals.

 

Wednesday (Nauti-Cycle Club) rides are appropriate for all riders on road bikes with reasonable fitness. 10 mile route at approximately 14mph average. The Nautilus van will follow the riders & offer sag support! Additional mileage available at a faster pace for anyone interested after the initial 10 miles have been completed.

 

Thursday rides are medium paced and designed as recovery.

 

Saturday rides vary in length, but are generally 60 - 150 miles. Multiple distances are ALWAYS available. Start times vary throughout the year. Please contact Charlie at the bike shop to confirm distance, location & start time.
